Bibiani Gold Stars beat Vision Fc at home to go top of the Ghana Premier League on Sunday afternoon after matchday 12.
Gold Stars grabbed all three points on the day through a Samuel Atta Kumi strike and an opposition own goal, and now sit top of the standings ahead of Nations Fc who fell to Berekum Chelsea in a 1-0 defeat at home.
The win means Bibiani Gold Stars are league table toppers with 23 points, above Nations Fc who sit in second place with 22 points.
The win also means Gold Stars have secured only one defeat in their last seven matches and are now considered contenders for the title ahead of the end of the first round.
