Real Madrid forward Kylian Mbappe has apologized to fans after his penalty miss at San Mames against Athletic Club on Wednesday in La Liga, labeling it a mistake but says he takes ‘full responsibility and will soon show who he is.’
Real suffered their third defeat in their last seven matches in all competitions and and the loss to Bilbao was a game in which Mbappe failed from 12 yards for the second time in a week.
The Frenchman took to Instagram after the game to apologize to fans and express his confidence to reverse the situation, believing now as the best time to show his attributes that have stunned the world across the past few years.

Kylian Mbappe has netted eight goals so far in 15 matches in La Liga, and though expectations are high, he has shown signs of promise to reverse the situation.
