Ghana Premier League side Samartex have appointed Christopher Ennin as their new head coach after parting ways with Nurudeen Amadu.
Samartex are current champions of the league, yet failed to find consistency in the game this season which led to the departure of Amadu.
The Nsekyire-based club took to social media to announce the appointment in a statement that read : “Chris is our man. We are delighted to confirm that Christopher Ennin has agreed to become the club’s new Head Coach.”
Ennin previously led the technical bench of Berekum Chelsea, and will be bringing loads of Ghana Premier League experience to Samartex.
Samartex themselves are in dire need of good results to turn their fortunes around in the second half of the season as they sit in 10th place on the league log.
Ennin’s task is to revive the season for the champions and ultimately defend the title for the current winners.
