Accra Hearts of Oak continued their incredible run with a 1-0 win over Legon Cities on MatchDay 16 of the 2024/25 Ghana Premier League season.
The Phobians kickstarted 2025 with a win and now sit in second place after their victory at the Legon Stadium on Friday night.
24-year-old Ranzy Yusif made an incredible run to grab the opener and only goal of the game in the 78th minute mark, and it was enough to grab all three points for the Phobians.
The win also means Hearts of Oak have suffered only one defeat in their last eight matches (Asante Kotoko) and are now in a good position to fight for the title.
Aboubakar Ouatarra’s side seem to have found the rhythm they so desperately needed and will be aiming for all three points when they face a tough task against Samartex in the next Matchday.
