Bechem United assistant coach, Seth Osei, popularly known as “Wire,” says he’s confident his team can secure the Ghana Premier League title by the end of the 2024/25 season.

Speaking to the media on Sunday after a goalless draw against Young Apostles in their final game of the first round, Coach Osei expressed his belief that Bechem United is still in the title race despite the dropped points.

“It’s not yet over. From 1st to 6th, anybody can win the league. We want to win. We have a very good team,” he stated. “Players who were injured have come back, so it’s going to be good going forward for Bechem United. Every game in our home, we have to win.”

The tactician emphasized the importance of turning their home ground into a fortress in the second round, aiming to maximize points in their pursuit of the championship.

Bechem United concluded the first round in 5th place on the league table, keeping them well within striking distance of the top.

As the league heads into the second half of the campaign, Bechem take on Nations FC, a tough match that could set the tone for their title charge.

The race for the Ghana Premier League crown remains wide open, and Coach Osei’s optimism reflects the determination within the Bechem camp to make history this season.
