Ghana’s sports broadcaster Darius Osei in collaboration with Ezzy Paints and other individuals made donations to the Nkwatia “Bless the children orphanage” formerly of “Save Our Soul(SOS)” last Sunday, 20th April, 2025 to mark the resurrection of Jesus Christ.
Ezzy Paints made donations of buckets of paints and cash component, whiles Darius with the support from individuals, Mercy Awuah-Nkansah, Margaret Gyamfua, Bernard Nyarko, Mrs Evelyn Peasah, Mr Owusu Addae, Salifu Sinkare, Mrs. Esther Owusu Asante, Maame Dufie, Maamley Rutayisire, Hannah Mintah and Collins Akuamoah.
Items such as buckets of paints, groceries, toiletries, provisions, bottled water and soft drinks were donated.
Darius and the “Easter Feed The Orphan Donation” team joined 45 kids to enjoy a hot meal served and make merry on the Easter Sunday.
In an emotional speech delivered by the director of the facility, Mrs. Grace Yeboah expressed excitement for the visit and items delivered.
“we thank Ezzy Paints and Darius’ ‘Easter Feed The Orphan Donation’ team for this remarkable donations, the Paints will be used for the refurbishment of the facility, whiles we celebrate the feast with the items, we are so much grateful to Darius and whoever contributed, we say God bless them all” she said.
The well established sports broadcaster, Darius highlighted the reasons for the donation.
“In the feast like this, we should be able to celebrate with these wonderful kids out here, parents will celebrate Christmas and Easter with their children, but who would celebrate this Easter with the Orphans? We took it upon ourselves to reach out to the kids in Kwahu Nkwatia SoS to have the feast together, and put smiles on the faces of these lads during the Easter festival” he said
