Four Black Stars players in Jordan Ayew, Alidu Seidu, Gideon Mensah and Fatawu Issahaku have been ruled out of Ghana’s final 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) game against Niger on Monday due to injuries.
The Black Stars failed to book a place in Morocco next year and ended their 10 successive appearance run after their 1-1 draw with Angola in Luanda on Friday.
The Ghana Football Association and the team led by Otto Addo have since been ridiculed for their performances, with many demanding the resignation of the current management as soon as possible.
The Black Stars will not be featuring in the 24-man tournament next year in Morocco and have themselves to blame for their poor performances in the qualifiers.
For Otto Addo, a sack looks imminent with his second stint deemed ‘unreasonable’ by many who have consistently questioned his experience and tactical abilities.

Ghana lie bottom of the standings in Group F and a victory will still not be enough for them to reach the continental front.
