Aduana FC part ways with Yaw Acheampong after poor run of form

Share

Aduana FC have parted ways with head coach Yaw Acheampong after the team’s disappointing start to the 2024/25 Ghana Premier League season.

Acheampong’s side fell to Kotoko in a 2-0 defeat in Dormaa Ahenkro, and have been far from their best level in recent weeks.

After the team’s defeat on Sunday at the Nana Agyemang Badu Park, they have been left in 13th place on the league table with only 12 points from 12 games, averaging a point per match.

Aduana have secured only two wins, with six draws and four losses, and have struggled to find their rhythm in the ongoing campaign.

Assistant coach Paul Tandoh will now lead the team as interim coach, as Aduana search for a new boss to revive their season.

Yaw Acheampong led Aduana to a fifth-place finish last season and leaves this side with hopes that the club can quickly rediscover their best level.
