“The move to Hearts of Oak was a shocking and unexpected one. But I must admit it’s been great since coming to this big club,”
Benjamin Asare has been touted as one of the best goalkeepers in the league in the last few seasons. Despite being a part of the Great Olympics team that got relegated at the end of the 2023/24 season.
The agile goalie kept 16 clean sheets in the top flight for Great Olympics, a tally no other GPL goalkeeper was able to match.

Asare signed for Accra-based Hearts of Oak for an undisclosed sum before the beginning of the 2024/25 season, helping them eradicate their goalkeeping problems in no time.
