The Black Galaxies this afternoon defeated neighboring country Togo by 2-0 in an international friendly at the Stade de Kégué.
The match is part of the Galaxies preparation for their double header 2025 CHAN qualifier against Nigeria in the come days.
The Galaxies took the lead in the first three minutes of the game kind courtesy of Asante Kotoko SC forward Albert Amoah.
Skipper Yakubu Issah doubled the lead for the Galaxies in the 27th minute of the game and manage to end proceedings with the 2-0.
Over 30 players traveled with the team as coach Mas Ud Didi Dramani aims to assemble a strong side ahead of the announcement of the final squad for the two legged clash.
The Black Galaxies will host sworn rivals Nigeria in the CHAN qualifiers with the first leg is slated for December 22, at the Accra Sports Stadium while the return leg comes up on December 28, at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium in Uyo.
