Coach of the Black Maidens, Joe Nana Adarkwa, has announced his final squad for the inaugural WAFU Zone B U-17 Girls Cup, set to kick off on Thursday, December 12, 2024.
The tournament will take place at the Ghanaman Soccer Center of Excellence in Prampram Accra, Ghana.
Ghana, which was originally drawn in Group A with Benin and Burkina Faso, now only faces Benin because Burkina Faso withdrew from the tournament.
After weeks of intensive preparation, Coach Adarkwa has finalized a 20-player squad to represent Ghana in the championship.
The Black Maidens are in excellent shape going into the competition after going undefeated in their three pre-tournament warm-up games against FC Epiphany Warriors, Rootz Sistaz, and Sissamba Ladies.
