Ghana’s Black Princesses are preparing for their campaign to secure an eighth consecutive appearance at the FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup, set to be held in Poland in 2026.
After receiving a bye in the first round of African qualifiers, the Black Princesses will begin their journey in the second round, where they await the winner of the Togo vs. Tunisia clash. Should they advance, a third-round matchup against either Eswatini or South Africa will follow, with a spot in the final round at stake.
The qualifiers kick off in May 2025, but Ghana will start their quest in September. This marks a crucial opportunity for redemption after the team’s early exit in the group stage of the 2024 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup in Colombia.
