Ghana seeks a crucial victory to boost their qualification chances as they prepare to play Angola in a 2025 AFCON qualifier on Friday at the Estadio 11 de Novembre in Luanda.
Ghana has been disappointing in the qualifiers so far, and with two games to go, their fate is not in their hands.
The Black Stars have failed to beat any of their opponents so far, with two defeats and two draws in their opening four fixtures.

Ghana has however been given a lifeline ahead of today’s game after Niger beat Sudan by 4-0 yesterday in Togo. The result leaves the group very wide open.
The result also means that Ghana will have to beat Angola on Friday and also beat Niger in Accra three days later and hope that Angola beats Sudan in the final round of fixtures to secure a spot in Morocco next year.
Ahead of the two remaining qualifying games in November, eight players dropped out of the team due to various injury issues. The players include Joseph Paintsil, Antoine Semenyo, Ibrahim Osman, Tariq Lamptey, Jerome Opoku, Alexander Djiku, Jonas Adjetey, and Inaki Williams.
LA Galaxy winger, Joseph Paintsil was one of the eight players to also withdraw, citing personal reasons for his withdrawal.
Head coach, Otto Addo, named Osman Bukari, Ransford
Yeboah Koningsdorffer, Forson Amankwah, Terry Yegbe, Ebenezer Annan, and Kingsley Schindler as replacements heading into the two qualifiers.
Ghanaians will be hoping and praying that Otto Addo and his team will finally give them some joy after a host of poor performances which have left the country on the brink of missing out on the next AFCON which will be hosted in Morocco.
