Nsoatreman FC was held to a pulsating 1-1 draw by regional neighbors Aduana FC at the Nana Koramansah Park on Saturday afternoon.

The Matchday 11 fixture produced lots of exciting moments as both teams managed to get on the score sheet in the first half.

Nsoatreman FC were hoping to grab their first home win over their neighbors in two years heading into the game.

The hosts will get a deserving lead after just 21 minutes when defender, Anokye Morrison, finished from close range. A goal that would seem to give the Nsoatre-based side their fourth win of the season.

The visitors after fluffing a couple of chances after conceding will hit back with 6 minutes to play in the first half through winger, Adel Bamba. The skillful winger’s well-timed strike sailed past Nsoatreman FC shot-stopper Acquah Ferdinand.

The second 45 minutes saw both teams limiting each other to very few chances. The home side could’ve sealed the game but for an extraordinary reflexive save from Masawudu Inusah to deny them.

With the points shared between the two sides after 90 minutes, Nsoatreman FC has climbed to 12th position on the league log. Aduana FC despite picking up a point also moved to 10th place after 11 games.

Nsoatreman FC travel to the capital city on Matchday 12 to face Accra Hearts of Oak, while Aduana hosts giants Kumasi Asante Kotoko at the Nana Agyemang Badu I Park.
