Aduana Stars will host Kumasi Asante Kotoko on Matchday 12 of the 2024/25 Ghana Premier League season in hopes of increasing their chances of finishing strong in the first round.
The hosts approach this game with only one defeat in their last five matches, while Kotoko have themselves to blame for a lack of consistency in that same period, losing four times while drawing once.
However, Prosper Narteh Ogum’s side still lead the hosts on the standings as the porcupines sit in 8th place while Aduana are in 11th place.
Aduana Stars played out a 1-1 draw with Nsoatreman last weekend and will be aiming to bounce back to winning ways on this Matchday.
Kotoko however cannot afford to drop any more points if they want to keep their title hopes alive this season, as they have no win in their last four league matches.
Aduana Stars fans will be aiming for a class performance from their side, knowing a win against Kotoko could be a turning point for their season.
The advantage lies in the balance as both sides have two wins against each other, while drawing once in the period.
The match is expected to begin at 3:00pm on Sunday at Dormaa Ahenkro.
