Hearts of Oak head coach Aboubakar Ouattara says his team are looking to make amends for their defensive woes that has cost them in crucial games this season.
The Accra-based side edged Accra Lions in a dramatic 3-2 comeback on Sunday yet had themselves pecked back for most aspects of the game.
In his post match interview, Ouatarra expressed dissatisfaction with his team’s second-half performance and said the Phobians need to keep concentration levels at the maximum in order to dominate games.
To Ouatarra, this is the way forward if his team want to end the season strong.
“We lost concentration when we came from the dressing room. We need to defend well and play well. I don’t know what happened, but the important thing is that we took the three points.”
Hearts of Oak sit in sixth place on the league log, five points of leaders Hearts of Lions and take on Legon Cities at home on Matchday 16 of the 2024/25 campaign.
