Ghanaian winger Joseph Paintsil has encouraged Ghanaians to look forward and put behind them the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying disappointment.
Paintsil has asked that Ghanaians to rally their support behind the men’s senior national team though the current situation looks difficult to navigate.
Speaking exclusively to JoySports, the Los Angeles Galaxy star stated that football has its highs and lows and the Black Stars will surely bounce back from their present adversity.
“Yeah for sure, I can say a little bit. This is football. Its not like 10 years ago where you meet a team and expect to beat them 5-0. We are in a difficult situation now and everyone now plays in Europe.”
“You can’t say this or that team is bad. The more you think that, the more they surprise us. It happens, we just ask Ghanaians to support us. We need to go through everything together and please support us.”
For many Ghanaians, the situation needs to be addressed. However, many are far from surprised about the happenings surroundings the national team, blaming it all on the current Ghana Football Association.
