Dreams F.C. coach Karim Zito has revealed that his team is confident and motivated for their clash against Asante Kotoko on matchday 14 of the Ghana Premier League.
The FA Cup champions of 2024 will welcome Kotoko to Tuba on Saturday, December 21.
Speaking in his pre match interview with the media, Zito sounded confident in his side and said ”psychologically, when you’re going to play against a bigger club, the players motivate themselves without me telling them.”
“Just like Kotoko playing against Hearts of Oak, the players motivate themselves because it’s a game that will make you popular or unpopular”, he added.
Zito’s men completed the double over Kotoko last season and won both matches without conceding a goal.
Kotoko are winless against Dreams in their last four matches and Zito will be aiming to continue the impressive streak.
Dreams have endured a rough start to the season, having clinched only 12 points; one fewer than matches played.
The ”Still Believe” boys are second from bottom, and have only two wins all season.
