The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has named Kim Lars Bjorkegren as the new head coach of the Black Queens, Ghana’s senior women’s national team.
The Swedish tactician replaces Nora Häuptle, whose contract recently expired. Bjorkegren’s most recent role was managing Racing Louisville FC in the US National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL). He will be supported by assistant coaches Charles Sampson and Anita Wiredu.
Other key appointments include Nassamu Yakubu as Goalkeepers Coach and Enoch Jordan Daitey as Athletic Coach. The medical team will be led by Kate Boachie-Agyemang, assisted by Team Nurse Asinawu Abubakari, with Margaret Foli serving as Physiotherapist.
Additionally, Drucilia Arthur has been named Welfare Manager, while Patience Nana A. Quarshie and Adwoa Bayor will serve as Equipment Officers. Ronnie Bergdahl, a seasoned video analyst, will provide technical support.
