Kumasi Asante Kotoko continued on where they left off after the Super Clash and edged Dreams FC away from home on Matchday 14 of the Ghana Premier League.
The Porcupine Warriors have now won three tough games on the bounce after beating Aduana, Hearts and now Dreams FC.
The job on the day for Ogum’s side was done in the first half as Kotoko grabbed two goals in three minutes from Baba Yahaya and Dauda Saaka to eventually pull off the win.
Early on in the second half, Joseph Esso pulled one back for Dreams yet it was not enough as the Porcupines managed to hold onto their lead until the final whistle of the game.
Kotoko are now three points off the top spot after their win against Dreams and a point off the top four.
Should Ogum’s side continue on this path, a possible fight for the title could be on the cards.
