For the first time in nearly two decades, Lionel Messi has been excluded from the FIFPRO World 11, with Jude Bellingham and six Real Madrid players leading the way in this year’s honours.
The 2024 FIFPRO World 11 marks a historic moment, as Lionel Messi, who holds the record for the most selections with 17, was replaced in the front row by Erling Haaland, Kylian Mbappe, and Vinicius Jr. This edition of the World 11 also reflects the dominance of Real Madrid, with six of their players featuring in the lineup, alongside four from Manchester City.
Jude Bellingham, the standout performer for Real Madrid and England, received the highest number of votes, with 11,176 selections from his peers, topping the men’s overall voting.
