Standard Chartered Bank Ghana PLC has launched the Standard Chartered Cup (SC Cup) 2024 Tournament in Accra.
The 5-aside football tournament was launched in November 2024.
The football tournament serves as a platform for Standard Chartered markets to interact actively with the Bank’s clients and football fans across the country. It is also hinged on the Bank’s partnership with Liverpool FC.
The SC Cup, an invitational tournament, offers the Bank a unique moment to engage its clients in a thrilling competition.
Winners of the SC Cup will get the chance to visit Anfield, the iconic home of Liverpool FC, and witness a live match.
The winner of SC Cup 2024 of the SC Cup will be decided when Corporate and Employee Banking clients face off in Accra to compete for the ultimate title.

Previously, Standard Chartered has hosted the SC Trophy since 2015.
Aside watching Liverpool FC play live at Anfield, the winners get to visit the training grounds of Liverpool FC, receive coaching from Liverpool FC legends, and enjoy a complete tour of Anfield.
Standard Chartered is the Liverpool Football Club’s main partner for both men’s and women’s teams. Their partnership has been running for the past 14 seasons.
Liverpool FC recently defeated Real Madrid in the UEFA Champions League. The Reds are top of the Premier League as well.
